Every once in a while, you stumble upon seemingly normal people, who will ask the dumbest/strangest questions.
Case in point: last weekend, a female friend of mine (you know who you are) was asked by a fairly sloshed dude wether she had a penis. Now, we never really got to find out why exactly that question was asked, but if you knew that fetching lady, you would not, in a thoulsand years, think that she had a cock attached to her body. sorry if I stole your story dear, but theres a point to this: normal people are a hell of a lots stranger than so-called freaks.
Now for my own tale: a long, long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away (well, about half an hour drive for Montreal really, but thats not the point) I was looking for a job. I should have been desperate, but I had gone over and beyond that point and I wasnt giving too much of a crap about the whole search. Sure, I was unemployed, had no revenues and I was sharing an appartment with people I had learned to resent, but still. All the jobs that were available sucked anyways.
So, as I'm filling out this job application form, one of the questions truly did stand out:
What would be the worse thing that could happen during your shift and how would you deal with the situation?
I highly encourage you to come up with your own answer. I'm still trying to figure out the answer they wanted myself. At the time, I answered the best I could.
The worse things that could happen would be that the monghol hordes of Gengis Khan were to invade and take over the store. At that point, I would submit and serve my new masters.
You can imagine that they didnt hire me. Which is fair, cause I didnt really want them to.
