The wonderful little rainstorm last night was rather spectacular. There was a lightning hit pretty close by ( I saw the flash and heard a damn loud explosion, so it was indeed a close hit!). Unfortunately, a tiny little surge made one victim: my computer screen. While I fortunately had a backup, its just not the same. Especially on resolution. Sigh.
Now I pretty much HAVE to get a new computer. Or at least a new display. But at that point, might as well get the whole damn thing.
Damnit.

just don't get yourself in a situation where you have to call customer service about a payment plan again...
